9:15 AM – MORNING MARKET UPDATE & WATCH LIST
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter a very rough start to the week, yesterday the Dow gained +147 points, the S&P 500 added +20 points, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced +46 points.

This morning, futures are higher as investors are again optimistic about prospects for a partial U.S.-China trade deal after Chinese officials indicated that delegates remain in “close contact”.
Markets in Europe opened mixed, while stocks in Asia also struggled to find direction.
Dollar General (DG), Kroger (KR) and Tiffany & Co. report earnings before US markets open. American Outdoor Brands (AOBC) and Ulta Beauty (ULTA) will follow after the close.
