9:15 AM – MORNING MARKET UPDATE & WATCH LIST
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter hitting record highs on Friday, being closed on Monday, markets fell yesterday with the Dow closing down -152 points, the S&P 500 ended off by -9 points, and the Nasdaq fell -18 points.

The last time the S&P 500 fell by -1% or more was October 8th, when the S&P 500 tumbled by nearly -1.6% and the Dow plunged -314 points. That’s was 70 sessions ago.
This morning, stock futures point higher again after an off Tuesday. Markets in Europe gained, while stocks in Asia recovered sharply.
Johnson & Johnson report earnings before the markets open. Texas Instruments follows after the close.
