9:15 AM – MORNING MARKET UPDATE & WATCH LIST
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n Wednesday, the three indices again reached all-time highs at one point and finished not too far off their peaks. Overall, the Dow closed higher by +42 points, the S&P 500 ended up +13 points, and the Nasdaq increased +57 points.

It’s the morning after the Thanksgiving holiday, and markets in Europe opened mixed, while stocks in Asia fell after China drove down the price of some drugs.
President Trump’s decision to sign legislation in support of Hong Kong’s pro-democracy protesters this week isn’t likely to derail US-China trade talks — but it will complicate negotiations said to be at a crucial juncture.
The exchanges close early today at 1 PM.
