Looking for a Like-Minded Professional Who Manages Money ?

One question that I am regularly asked is – “Can you recommend a professional who manages money using the same methodology which your services are based upon?”

As many of you know I’ve been in the business of researching and reporting on high-ranked growth stocks for over 20 years.

For 8 of those years, I proudly served as Editor-in-Chief of an independently licensed website which offered stock reports and services based on the CAN SLIM® investment system.

I’ve had the privilege to meet and work closely with many professional money managers who implement this investment approach for their clients in the current marketplace, for over two decades.

Over the years, there has been just a handful of these professionals who have stood out from the rest, and who I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for professional guidance.

One of them is Jack Elvestrom and here’s why…

He has studied this popular winning investing methodology and has been a fan of it for more than 20 years.  He uses MarketSmith®, reads IBD® daily and highly recommends the book – How to Make Money in Stocks by William J. O’Neil.

Also, Jack has been a long-term subscriber to my services and he currently receives all of my research and reports. These reports feature stocks which match up very favorably with the proven guidelines that were developed from the famous 50-year study of the market’s biggest winners.  You are likely to see many of the stocks which are featured in my services, are also found in his managed portfolio.

Jack manages a Growth Portfolio for clients on a discretionary fee based structure, clients incur no commissions. This allows him to manage multiple individual client accounts identically. Clients are able to watch and follow their portfolios daily, if desired through online account access. Also, Jack invests his own money right alongside his clients in the same model portfolio.  He eats his own cooking, so to speak.

His Growth Portfolio holds a focused, small group (generally 12 to 16) of the top growth stocks in the top sectors in the current market. Stocks are bought on strength while showing high trading volume as they are accelerating up out of base areas. Purchased stocks which follow through and make gains are held, and higher stop loss levels are determined to protect profits going forward. If the breakout of a particular stock fails shortly after initial purchase, the small loss is taken. He maintains a general containment goal for losses of 7-9% to protect capital. He does not buy stocks that are down and depressed in hopes of a turnaround. If the market weakens with continued distribution days and stocks breaking down, cash is raised. The portfolio can be 100% invested or 100% cash – the degree of exposure is dictated by the market’s health (not by a guess or forecast). Stocks in the portfolio are a mix of large, mid and small cap.

As you can see, he aims to participate in the growth potential of the strongest stocks, but gives equal attention to protecting capital in a weakening market.

His portfolio cost and operating structure is fee based at 1.25% annually of dollars invested up to 500K, reduced to 1% over 500K, billed quarterly from the account.  Minimum investment is 100K.  There are no commissions on trades, the annual fee covers all – there no exit or termination costs.

Again, I highly recommend Jack Elvestrom. He uses an investment strategy we are all familiar with, has the proper platform in place to execute and manage effectively, and Jack takes very good care of his clients.
