After pulling back to their respective 10-day lines on Monday, the major averages basically have thus far held there and traded higher Tuesday.
This morning, futures are sharply higher with the Dow’s up +165. Markets in Europe gained in their first day of trading this year, while stocks in Asia were mixed.
Look for initial jobless claims will be published at 8:30 AM ET.
